Lecturer in Sociology – Criminology / Criminal Justice

TENNESSEE TECH UNIVERSITY invites applicants for a Lecturer position in Criminology/Criminal Justice, to begin August 1, 2025.

The position is a full-time, renewable and promotable Lecturer in Sociology – Criminology/Criminal Justice. The candidate should hold a minimum of a Master’s degree in Sociology-Criminology/Criminal Justice or related field. Salary commensurate with experience.

The Lecturer is expected to teach both introductory and upper-division courses in the criminology and criminal justice concentration, compatible with departmental needs. Candidates would be expected to teach four (4) courses per standard semester. Teaching experience is preferred, and a willingness to teach online is desirable. Candidates are required to perform service to the department and university. The contract is on a 9-month basis.
