With the March 1st PreRegistration deadline now in our collective rearview mirror, we can really look forward to President Robinson’s amazing upcoming annual meeting in Charlotte, NC – Sociology of the Future and the Future of Sociology.
I cannot tell you how excited folks seem to be about coming together for SSS 2025 this year – the registrations (by the way, you can still register HERE), the memberships (by the way, you can still join HERE), and the many, many emails, social media posts, calls, and conversations we have had are evidence of this excitement!
I come to y’all today to remind you of a really important reality – it is critical that you book your lodging within our contracted hotel block at the Sheraton Charlotte and Le Meridien.
You can book your room HERE and should do so before the cutoff date of March 18th.
Booking within our SSS contracted block of rooms is really important to the fiscal health of our organization, our ability to have the kind of meeting we wish to have, and our future prospects of contracting spaces that work for SSS and our meetings together each year.
Please go in and book your room now. If we do not fill our contracted room block, the fiscal consequences for SSS are great.
