President Adia Harvey Wingfield, the SSS 2021 Program Committee, the Executive Committee, and the Executive Office hope that you are safe and healthy as we head into July and all prepare for an unprecedented semester.
We are thinking of each of you and working behind the scenes this summer on all things SSS.
We come to you today with an exciting announcement!
After some years in development, discussions with Executive Committee and the Ad Hoc Website Committee, and, under the leadership and vision of Assistant Executive Officer, Slade Lellock, we are excited to announce the launching on the new SSS Website!
The new website will be launched this Friday, July 10th.
In order to prepare for that launch, the current website will be down for a few days this week. Then, Friday, July 10th, we will announce the new Website along with the newest issue of The Southern Sociologist featuring President Harvey Wingfield’s announcement and discussion of her annual meeting theme for SSS 2021!
