2025 is upon us! Happy New Year! The new membership year began on January 1st, 2025. As such, it is now time for you to make sure your membership is up to date for the 2025 membership cycle.
SSS membership is crucial to the running of the society. The benefits of active membership in SSS include:

Don’t forget our amazing annual meeting coming up April 9-12, 2025, in Charlotte, NC. President Dawn Robinson is charging to consider the future of sociological research, the future of sociology as a discipline, and the future of higher education. Submission acceptance emails have now been sent for the upcoming 2025 annual conference. Please check your Member Portal (in the Messages tab at sss.mymeetingsavvy.net) and/or Spam folder (from sender “sss@meetingsavvy.com”) if you do not see it in your email inbox. If you submitted to a Session Seeking Papers, the session organizer will receive the decision emails.
The Executive Office also urges you to pre-register for SSS 2025 at this time as well as to book your room for the meeting. Membership and registration are required for everyone listed on the program. This can be done by visiting the SSS member portal.
